Connecting with your Clients
When I was a little kid, like about 2 or 3, my mother would play this game with me. She called it “Boom Bah.” It’s one of those mommy-baby games you play to develop connections with your baby.
She would sit on a couch or chair and I would sit on her lap facing her. She would take a hold of my hands. Then she would slowly lower me back so that I was lying upside down on the shins of her legs. As I went backwards she would say “Boom.” Then as she pulled me back upright, she would say “Bah.” “Boom Bah Boom Bah.”
So how do you connect with your clients. Do you ever talk to them, share stories or achievements, or just ask them about how they got started in business. This simple customer relations activity can bring amazing results.
First, you can find out how your business is succeeding and doing things well. Even better, you can find out where you aren’t making clients happy. Those areas are things you can change for a better customer experience. Lastly, you can find out what new or improved products and services you can incorporate to your offerings in order to reach a bigger market or get more repeat sales.
Try “Boom Bah” and connect with your clients, and see what strides you can make in your business this month. Then let me know your "Boom Bah" moments.
