Courage is master-key for high resolution leadership.
Courage is the doorway to high resolution life.

Courage is master-key for high resolution leadership.

Are you surprised to know that around 80% of people in this world are living below the courage line. Many people mis-perceive the instinctive reaction with boldness or brevity as courage. However, these are just unconscious and illusory courage out of unconscious compulsion, fear, greed, anger and pride. This illusory courage mostly emanates from self-centric interest and effort. However real courage is a conscious-brevity which reverberates with quest, enthusiasm, willingness, acceptance, and reason. To be specific, courage to accept current realities, to dream audacious future, to confront and to be confronted for truth, jumping in to unknown gracefully etc. All these courage emanates from a leadership identity beyond self (or ego).

 Our inner state of consciousness is nothing but a level of energy in vibration. In fact, everything in life is vibration, as per Albert Einstein. Also Mr. Nikola Tesla said;

 "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."

 As per Dr David R. Hawkins’s "conscious map" (refer link below); life of each one of us can be measured in terms of vibrational energy or levels of consciousness (LOC) in a scale of 1 to 1000. Higher is the vibrational energy; higher is the level of empowerment, success and joy. He puts courage or life of courageous personality at LOC of 200. Just to clarify it's not about physical courage or brevity, but moral courage. The moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of discouragement or opposition, possibly and knowingly running the risk of adverse personal consequences.

Any personality with LOC < 200 (i.e., self with ego), lives in victim and scarcity mentality, perceive the encountered life-situation as unfavorable and threat. In other words, they perceive themself as weaker and less empowered than life-situation. However, a personality (or self) with LOC>=200 (self beyond ego) perceives himself stronger or more empowered than encountered life-situation. Hence, they rake accountability and responsibility of life situation consciously, i.e., not out of compulsion. They always see opportunity, abundance, strength in life-situation. In simple personality with LOC<200 has to apply force compulsively to create value and success, however personality with LOC>200 feel empowered or powerful to achieve the same with joy. Also, courage moves us from self-centric to selfless effort. Hence courage (200) is the shifting point for life and life-situation. Courage empowers us to live life of possession without possessiveness; pain without painfulness, feeling without thinking, passion without obsession, quest without greed, being angry without having anger, facing criticism without inferiority complex, inspiring without superiority complex, putting effort with effortlessness; working without being tired and so on.

In summary, around 80% of people are below courage (200 in conscious-map, link below) and hence cowardice in comfort zone. Given an option, they will try to exploit the freedom in organization. Hence, leaders (managers/bosses) below 200 (courage) needs to depend upon formal/organizational authority to govern them; where there will be tug-of-war between two perspectives of comfort-zone. In simple, a leader with consciousness >= 200 (Courage). i.e., a Smart-Sage can only govern them with love and inspiration.

 Out of courage to jumping in to unknown, Mr. Ratan Tata bought JLR and Corus, in spite his friends distant themselves from him with a perception of stupidity. However, he surprised them by transforming organizations from value- leaking to value-creating. Similarly, Mr. Narayan Murthy; co-founder of Infosys says; the single most important attribute of a great leader is courage. Mr. Steve Jobs is known for his courageous product design. Also refer talk on “Courage to Lead” by Simon Sinek.

Another such courageous leader was Sam Manekshaw ; Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He was the man who stand against rest of the cabinet to stop Indo-Pack war in April'1971 for it's impact on economy due to unpreparedness of Indian army. Also finally convinced the then prime-minister Ms. Indira Gandhi.

2022 is ending with mix of good and evil events across the globe, i.e.,   resurgence of Covid in China, Russia-Ukraine war, Argentina to win the Football World Cup, Sri-Lanka Economic Crisis and so on. In above situations, you might have witnessed the leadership style in Xi Jinping, Putin, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Messi, President Gotabaya. I will leave to you on how you perceive about above leadership either courageous(>=200) or cowardice (<200)?

 As we await to invite new year (2023), we have an opportunity rethink, refresh and rekindle our conscious energy to live and lead life with courage (>=200); i.e., to feel empowered with optimism, quest, curiosity enthusiasm and willingness in every life-situation for abundance, success and joy.

Agree? Waiting for your feedback with eagerness.
