DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY SATURDAY, JULY 26, 2025.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG

Topic: Freedom from Generational Curses II

Text: Isaiah 10:27, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Food for thought: Freedom from generational curses is fought for and secured by a consistent life of holiness and deep connection to God.

Lesson: Generational curses are broken through the help of genuine ministers of God or by developing deep intimacy with Christ. Sin always keeps the door open for generational curses to return, but a holy life, constant prayer, fasting, and feeding on God’s Word keep the curses from returning. Staying close to God and fellowshipping with other believers strengthens your spiritual defense.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: Perseverance Through Faith

Text: Hebrews 11:30-40, Hebrews 11:32, 33

Food for thought: The road to victory is not paved with stones; it could be a jungle.

Lesson: Faith does not look for the easiest road—it creates a path where none exists and keeps walking. The road of faith is often rough, but those who keep going with patience and hope will do exploits. Even when there is no visible way, faith finds a way and presses forward. Let your confidence grow by drawing strength from the stories of those who walked this road before you.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: Fasting Is Important

Text : Daniel 9:3, Nehemiah 1:4; Acts 13:1-3 NIV; Luke 2:36-37

Food for thought: Fasting is a spiritual key that unlocks direction, power, and divine assignment.

Lesson: Fasting connects you deeply with God and prepares your spirit to hear His voice. Those who served God with fasting were led, empowered, and strengthened for divine tasks. Let fasting be a regular part of your walk when seeking clarity, strength, and purpose.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: Seeking Jesus For The Right Reasons

Text: John 6:27, John 4:23-24

Food for thought: Love the Lord with all your heart, your soul, and your might.

Lesson: Some people follow Jesus only for what they want Him to do, not because they love Him. God cannot be deceived or mocked; He rewards those who seek Him with sincere hearts. Let your desire for Jesus be rooted in love, salvation, and deep fellowship. Beloved, do not allow the enemy to short-change you. Seek God; love, worship, and serve Him for who He is.

5. Our Daily Bread

Topic: God, Our Safe Place

Text: Proverbs 18:10, Proverbs 18:10-11

Food for thought: God is not a last resort in trouble—He is the safest place you will ever run to.

Lesson: Trouble reminds us we need a safe place, and God's presence offers true shelter that no storm can shake. Taking refuge in Him means choosing His help over everything else, not just looking for a way to cope. Let your heart lean on Him daily, because only God is your true safe place.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC

Topic: Activating The Preservation Power Of The Word

Text: Psalm 107:20

Food for thought: What you eat eats you up.

Lesson: One defense against the wickedness in the world is the preservation power of God’s Word. The Word of God in your spirit becomes a scent the enemy cannot stand and a shield he cannot break. Let the Word form a shield around your destiny so you do not fall victim in a dark world.

7. Bishop Dr Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: He Wanted To Take His Money To The Grave!

Text: 1 Timothy 6:6-12, Matthew 6:19-25

Food for thought: The only treasure worth carrying to the grave is the one death cannot touch—Jesus in your heart.

Lesson: A man, known for being very stingy, told his wife before he died, “When I die, put all my money in the casket with me. I want to take it to the afterlife.” Unbelievable! His wife promised him she would do exactly that! After his death, during the funeral, just before they closed the casket, his wife wrote him a check instead. This shows how empty and foolish it is to live only for wealth that ends at death. The real poverty is having money but lacking Jesus. Let holiness be your daily pursuit, because only Christ remains your true wealth beyond the grave.

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic: Attaining Spiritual Maturity

Text: Hebrew 5:12-6:1-8, 1 Peter 2:2

Food for thought: Spiritual maturity doesn’t happen in a moment—it grows in the soil of consistent desire, discipline, and direction.

Lesson: The seed of growth is planted at salvation, but reaching maturity requires deliberate and progressive determination. Worldly influences, empty pursuits, and lack of discipline delay this journey. Let your heart chase after the pure Word of God, because moving toward perfection is the only way to reach your true home.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic: Do Not Give Up

Text: Mark 10:46-52,

Food for thought: What is that glorious ambition that you have, which seems impossible because of your limitations? Just know that God's mercy can lift you above them all.

Lesson: God lifts the poor out of the dunghill and makes him sit among princes. He can increase the cost of an individual condemned to a life of poverty. All you need to do is to approach the throne of grace to obtain mercy. Be persistent and wait on the Lord in the pursuit of your goals. Do not give up. You will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: Priest for hire

Text: Judges 18:1-13

Food for thought: Not every success means God is pleased, especially when it comes through the voice of compromise.

Lesson "Priest for hire" refers to a spiritual leader or religious figure who offers their services—not out of loyalty to God or truth—but in exchange for money, personal gain, or favour, even if it means compromising their values or promoting falsehood. A priest for hire may speak in God’s name but serve idols in secret. Let your heart stay alert and prayerful, because only God’s truth leads to lasting victory.
