Day 51 of 100 Days of Growth: Truth is a Matter of Perspective

What’s true or not often depends on the angle you’re looking from. In this image, both shapes are true—a square and a circle—but the real truth is somewhere between them. We only see part of the whole picture, shaped by our experience and perspective.

Over the past few days, I’ve found myself in several tricky situations. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t resolve them in the way I had hoped. In each case, I learned something new about how to bring different perspectives together. Sometimes, I managed to find common ground, and other times, people still disagreed. It wasn’t always the perfect outcome, but here’s the thing: you don’t always have to.

What really stood out was that it’s not always about “winning” or convincing everyone to agree. Sometimes, it’s simply about understanding where others are coming from and making peace with the fact that not every situation can be fully resolved.

At the end of the day, we can only do our best to listen, communicate, and stay open. Even if it doesn’t work out perfectly, the effort is what matters most. And who knows, with time, perspectives may change.
