It's not uncommon for physicians to expand their horizons and take on new challenges, including venturing outside of their traditional roles to open new hospitals. This trend reflects the evolving landscape of healthcare where professionals are increasingly involved in various aspects of healthcare delivery beyond clinical practice. This expansion often stems from a desire to address gaps in healthcare provision, offer specialized services tailored to specific patient populations or healthcare needs, or simply to innovate and create better healthcare experiences for patients. Physicians may be drawn to the entrepreneurial aspect of hospital ownership, seeing it as an avenue to make a broader impact on healthcare delivery while also potentially achieving professional fulfillment and financial success. This trend reflects a broader shift towards physician-led innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare, driven by a commitment to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

Likely as the traditional healthcare organizations don’t provide avenues for self actualization , most of these folks who are branching out are rolls Royce engines and largely doing clerical work in these large bureaucratic Buisnesses
