Did you miss that post?
Highlight of the past Month of posting by me... (June)
I have noticed a drop in exposure of posts on LinkedIn. Yeah, I know I did not put a lot of time into creating the powerful HOOK, the catchy scroll-stopping visual... but what I did provide not only has merit, but could be an asset LinkedIn decided NOT to share with you.
Let me work around the problem - by going straight to the 8,164 subscribers to my LinkedIn Newsletter - "AI Explore"... here you go. Don't worry - it is NOT everything, just the highlights you MIGHT find valuable.
Revisiting the '23 AI ad campaign
In early 2023, I helped Adrian Elton get up to speed with GenAI so he could launch the first AI-generated ad campaign in Australia. It made waves in AdNews and took a lot of prompting, Photoshop work, and layout finesse. Fast forward to now—I recreated the concept in under 10 minutes with ChatGPT, and while it’s not print-ready, the speed and output are mind-blowing. I shared how I did it (plus audience-specific variations) in this Substack post.
Real Feeling portraits with AI
Most AI portraits look perfect—but lifeless. In this post, I share how I prompt Midjourney V7 to create emotionally alive portraits that go beyond photorealism and actually connect. I break down how to guide GenAI using cinematic lighting, subtle textures, and emotional cues like grief, awe, and bittersweetness—all structured through my 12 Essential Prompt Elements. Full prompts and examples are on my Substack.
Ad Dev with AI
There are countless ways to go from A to B in a creative project—but in this post, I walk through one variation for developing a concept ad using AI. I used ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Express, and… well, my own brain and experience. The result? Scroll and see. Honestly, this one was just fun to make.
Photoshop textures with ChatGPT
Can ChatGPT create Textures to be used in Adobe Photoshop? Uhhhh - yeah. Come and see…
Midjourney Prompting --sref
Continuing my ongoing, full break down of EACH of the Midjourney prompt parameters… today we dive into --sref (style reference) in MJ V7.
Leonardo.Ai
Part 1 of my deep dive into Leonardo.Ai - focused this time on Omni Editing powered by FLUX.1 Kontext + GPT-Image-1
Part 2 of my deep dive into Leonardo.Ai. I’ve been testing Leonardo.Ai’s new Flow State feature—and while it hasn’t replaced my go-to tools, it’s a surprisingly useful visual brainstorming engine. You feed it one prompt, and it generates a stream of evolving image variations, perfect for exploring different moods, angles, and concepts before committing to a direction. It’s not about finished work—it’s about surfacing creative options you didn’t know you needed.
Bagel-ai
Bagel-ai ::: Though it’s not the best and definitely not the fastest… but if [ AI + FREE + easy interface ] are important to you, then this one should be on your radar.
Luma AI's Modify Video
Luma AI just dropped its “Modify Video” feature, and I couldn’t let it pass without flagging it for you.
RECAP
The next 30 days will draw a clear line between creatives who lead and those still on the fence about AI. In my latest newsletter, I share 5 major moves I’m making to reshape how creatives work and grow in 2025—including the AI Video course, a Photo MasterMind with Teri Campbell, and bespoke training that’s already delivering real results. This isn’t about chasing hype—it’s about building practical, human-centered momentum.
AI LAB • Photo Mastermind with Teri Campbell
Teamed up with the legendary Teri Campbell to launch the AI LAB • Photo Mastermind—a hands-on, collaborative community for photographers ready to lead with AI. We’re combining weekly lessons, peer support, and real-world tool integration to help you evolve your craft and your business. Founding Member spots are open now for just $50/month (locked for life)—only 20 available before pricing tiers up. Let’s build the future of photography, together.
AI Activation
While I’m building courses and communities, the deepest impact happens in 1:1 and team sessions—where creatives don’t just learn AI, they activate it. Demand for bespoke, strategic GenAI training has exploded, and I’m helping individuals and teams integrate AI in a way that accelerates output without sacrificing soul. This isn’t generic instruction—it’s creative transformation tailored to your goals, your workflow, and your competitive edge.
AI AMP/RAMP
I’m done with vanilla “AI training.” In this post I unveil how my AI LAB pushes way beyond—teaching creative teams to AMP (amplify their genius) and RAMP (accelerate their skills), delivering 25-55 % faster turnarounds, up to 40 % higher quality, and slashing routine work by 60-70 %. It’s not about tools; it’s about unleashing an unstoppable creative force—and I invite agencies ready for that edge to DM me.
Let's NOT Assume...
We all carry assumptions—about our work, our worth, even how we think AI should be used. But what if we’re wrong? In this post, I challenge creatives to let go of old beliefs and open up to a new way of integrating AI—not copy-paste tactics, but deeper, more human-centered transformation. It’s time to stop assuming and start reimagining. Let’s go way beyond training.
Image-to-Video Framework by Rory Flynn
I really liked Rory Flynn’s I2V (Image-to-Video) Prompting Framework—it’s simple, clear, and incredibly effective when paired with specific, creative language. I took that foundation and expanded it across tools like Kling AI 2.1, Luma AI, and Veo, showing how to use it for stronger emotional storytelling in text-to-video. If you’re looking to level up your video prompts, come take a look.
Omni-Ref in MJ V7
I just dropped part 1 of a new Substack series on getting great results with Omni-Ref in Midjourney V7—and turned it into a carousel for easy reference. This first post walks through the basics of placing an object in scene, using a Mya Tote Bag from Barbour as the example. The story (and deeper breakdown) continues over on Substack.
