Do Epic Good | April Newsletter Round-Up
This month in Good...
While the world rushes forward, nature slows us down, inviting reflection, reconnection, and regeneration. April reminded us that growth isn’t just about numbers. It’s about roots. As blossoms bloom and the Earth tilts closer to the sun, we’re reminded of the quiet power of doing better. Not louder, but deeper.
In a month that marked Earth Day, challenged the status quo of ESG, and sparked global conversations about how we create, consume, and care, we've curated stories that inspire, provoke, and push us forward.
Here’s what’s been Good this month and why it matters.
Good to watch
This month sees the release of something truly powerful. Ocean with Sir David Attenborough isn’t just a film, it’s a breathtaking journey to remind us there is nowhere more vital for our survival, more full of life, wonder, or surprise, than the ocean. Timed with his 99th birthday and ahead of World Ocean Day, this global cinema event shows us what’s at stake, and what’s still possible.
I can’t think of anyone more iconic nor trusted to speak up for our planet. Sir David Attenborough's work has shaped our lives and how we see the world. This could be a moment for change. His message could shape how we save it.

In the world of fashion, we also get to see the launch of something special. A beautiful fashion brand, Indilisi that is truly trying to revolutionise the way we make and consume fashion. Considering everything from the materials that promote soil health, ecosystems, biodiversity, the farmers livelihoods right through to the craft, women's rights and empowerment. Their slow fashion is proof that the current business model CAN change to benefit not just a few in the supply chain. Watch some of their behind the scenes work in this incredible film:

Good to listen
Much like my belief of Valentine's Day, we don't need a day to celebrate our Earth. With the month of April seeing in Earth Day, the team at Do Epic Good reminded us every day should be Earth Day and at the heart of all our decisions should be the question: What Would Nature Do?
With this in mind the incredibly talented people at @Soundsright.earth - a global music initiative to recognise the value of Mother Nature - launched 36 new tracks featuring NATURE, the world’s first official artist made up entirely of natural sounds. With over 130 million streams and global media attention, the initiative is turning listening into real conservation impact. For your next soundtrack, consider #SoundsRightEarth 💚
Good to read
Recently in the news there's been many highlights about the decline in ESG investing. But this isn't just about politics or ideology. It’s about trust. Trust that was lost when sustainability became a box-ticking exercise rather than a meaningful, long-term strategy.
This shift is an opportunity in disguise. Because when we stop chasing ratings and start asking deeper questions about resilience, regeneration, and real value - we open the door to building businesses that are not just sustainable, but future-proof. Let’s not get caught up in the headlines. Let's use this opportunity to build businesses with meaning.

Infographics are powerful. They unpack the hidden reality behind the beautiful campaigns that inspire us to trust, buy, and consume, translating the impact of (over)consumption and social injustices into tangible objects we recognise to confront the true cost. Not in dollars, but in damage. In these posts, we spotlight bold examples that challenges brands to think more sustainably, act transparently, and lead real change.

And just how many Earth's do we need to sustain our lifestyles, by country?
Good to giggle
We can all do with a good laugh everyday. And we definitely can't finish up our newsletter without leaving it on a higher note. So here's my favourite giggle from the month - the launch of the 'Sustainability Manager™ doll....Now with 87 conflicting priorities and zero budget!" 😂
