Do You Think Earth (Day) Matters?
Do you think Planet Earth is precious?
Seriously. When is the last time you really thought about what Earth means to you?
If you don’t act to protect Planet Earth, could you forever lose it?
Is Earth sacred? Even if you don’t think it’s sacred, it is something that you can’t live without.
Earth gives us so much—air to breathe, water to drink, ground to stand on. She holds our memories in her soil, our prayers in her winds, our hopes in her sunrise and our dreams in her sunsets.
From wildfires that scorch our communities to dolphins dying on our shores, our Mother Earth is crying out—not for pity, but for partnership.
So today, I ask you:
What seed will you plant—not just in the soil, but in your soul?
Can you commit to consuming less and caring more? Can you speak up for fire safety and our coastlines? Can you help protect our wild spaces, not just with policy—but with presence?
Rather than celebrating Earth Day, can you live it? Can you be it?
Walk gently, act boldly, and love this world fiercely— for all who came before us, for all here now, and for the precious generations yet to bloom.
