EDI Update: March
50+ CEOs across HTL and Retail publicly reaffirm commitment to inclusive workplaces
We have galvanised the power of their Collaboration Community, bringing together over 50 CEOs to publicly reaffirm their commitment to building inclusive organisations across Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail.
In a powerful reclaiming of the narrative surrounding inclusion, CEOs and senior leaders from organisations including Center Parcs, Greggs, Bourne Leisure, Sainsbury's, Pizza Express, Virgin Atlantic, IKEA, Nando’s and Wickes have all endorsed our pledge.
Launching our 2025 Women to Watch Index
We launched the 2025 Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index - which recognises the accomplishments of almost 90 inspirational women across our industry.
Our Index, produced in partnership with The MBS Group , is now in its seventh year and highlights women role models at all levels who are transforming the Hospitality, Travel, Leisure (HTL) and Retail sectors in the UK and beyond, detailing their stories and achievements.
At the launch event, Delegates - including many of the women featured in the index and C-suite supporters like Simon Roberts, CEO of Sainsbury’s and Paul Flaum, Group CEO of Bourne Leisure from our Collaboration Community - were treated to an uplifting launch event filled with insightful panel discussions and powerful keynote speeches.
Congratulations to all new Programme graduates
Huge congratulations to the most recent cohort of graduates from three of our Leadership Development Programmes.
February saw 72 remarkable women leaders graduate from the seventh cohort of our Global Women Leaders Programme, supported by McDonald's . Meanwhile, 17 inspiring senior women leaders graduated from the third cohort of our Women NED Programme.
Then earlier this month over 40 talented individuals graduated from the seventh cohort of our Ethnic Future Leaders Programme, supported by McDonald's . One of our graduates Safae Nakmouch shared: “Don't have dreams because dreams happen when you sleep and they're not real.
They're just not real. You wake up and it's gone. Have goals and put actions to it and they will happen. Great things only happen if you have goals that are achievable and don't focus on those barriers”
Congratulations to all our graduates - we cannot wait to see how they carry the skills and inspiration they have gained from the Programmes back into their organisations and future careers!
