Education & Digital Literacy: Aligned with SDG 4 – Quality Education

India’s path to inclusive and sustainable development is shaped by how effectively we educate and empower our future generations. As we advance toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4: Quality Education, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives are emerging as powerful enablers of systemic change. From digital access in government schools to community healthcare and clean energy, CSR is helping bridge critical service gaps and improve learning, health, and economic outcomes. In this edition of CSR Projects India, we spotlight high-impact models across education, healthcare, water & sanitation, and sustainability—designed to drive measurable change and scalable outcomes across the country.

Hi, I’m Kavita Mansur, founder of Responsible Fashioner and a sustainable fashion coach with 20+ years of experience in fashion education. The fashion industry is one of the world’s biggest polluters—but we believe change starts not in factories, but in our wardrobes. While awareness of fast fashion’s damage is growing, most people still don’t know how to act differently. That’s where we come in. Our mission is to make sustainable fashion simple, actionable, and accessible. Through live workshops, hands-on wardrobe training, and community-driven challenges, we’ve already helped hundreds of Indian families detox their wardrobes and adopt mindful fashion habits. Our impact is measurable—reduced purchases, more reuse, and real behavior change/ Looking at tie ups with corporate companies to bring awareness and actionable changes in the lives of their employees.( SDG13). Any CSR heads, please get in touch with me. TIA
