BW Offshore selected as preferred FPSO supplier for Bay du Nord offshore Canada
Equinor has designated BW Offshore as the preferred bidder for the Bay du Nord floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. The vessel will be used by the operator in a deepwater oil project in Canada in partnership with BP.
Development consent granted to 1.5GW offshore wind farm in the UK
The Morgan offshore wind project has received development consent from the UK government. In development by JERA Nex bp and EnBW, the 1.5GW power plant will be built on the Irish Sea.
Wison New Energies lands FPU contract in Türkiye
Wison New Energies has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract by Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO). The contractor will be responsible for supplying a floating production unit (FPU) for the third development phase of the Sakarya gas field.
