Emotional Freedom: Key to Time Management

There is lot of emphasis on time management now a day. Starting from Gen Eisenhower who gave the principle of “Urgent and Important” to Stephen Covey to any other personal management book, everybody puts lot of emphasis on time management, assuming that it is panacea of all our problems. Fact is that it is not. In fact it is quite possible that if you follow these principles strictly, you may become too mechanical as well and will lose the charm of spontaneity from your life.

However, you can save your lot of energy and have plenty of time plus be happy, if you follow these simple principles in your life:

Ø Nobody deserves your hate-  Hate drains your energy and you will feel tired in no time. Just be away from all those whom you don’t like. Let the time plays its role.

Ø Be in the company of those who energizes you.

Ø Don’t waste your energy on unnecessary YES. A single NO Can bring 100 pleasures.

Ø Value those who value you. Know the mirages of relationships  and don’t chase these.

Ø Don’t get involved in one-upmanship.

Ø Be consistently ethical in your conduct and relationships. Unethical people may be rich but not happy .(Don’t confuse temporary pleasure with happiness)

Ø Don’t carry the load of unnecessary expectations anywhere. In fact nip these in the bud only.

Ø Play what you love, Sing what you like most, Be a bathroom singer . Be happy even at the cost of others but don’t be a nuisance.

Ø Don’t go for the hack of going , not even for shopping.

Ø Be in company of your passion .

Ø Meditation

If you are happy you will not feel tired. Once you are full of energy, your vitality goes up and you can finish your important works in no time. Your mind will not be foggy and decision making will improve.

Remember that happy people attract happy people. Life will be blissful in their company.

What ever title we give, at the end it's all about time management. Most of the time even if planned, ones time is hijacked by others
