“Employees” are the most invaluable resource to every organization and keeping your workforce happy means keeping the organization well and sound. Hence this has led to companies concentrating more on employee engagement.

Employee engagement today has become one of the most vital components behind an organization’s success and it is becoming the need of the hour. Especially with the current pandemic and the shift to WFH, companies must invest more time and effort in acknowledging and connecting to their employees to keep them motivated and happy.

There are many companies working in encouraging and engaging employees and I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to work in this Tech-based company, Numly, Inc. from the past two months as a Product Leader Intern which has given me immense learning and experience of not only working and developing a product but also integrating various work areas and making everything fall in the right place.

My project area was to design and develop surveys and survey templates which would help in measuring and monitoring engagement among employees or to solve unanswered questions on employee skill gap. I designed these surveys on various soft and hard skills which would enable an employee to assess his skill gap and connect to a coach to help him upskill.

Having mentored by Industry leaders, the journey so far has been amazing, I feel I have developed my skills to become a data-driven person with an eye for detail, just like a product manager has. I used my knowledge and creativity to fulfill the business requirements and produce satisfactory results.

I am looking forward to many more months of developing individually and as a team member and contribute positively to meet the organizational needs.
