The Entrepreneurship Hustle

I learned from an early age what it means to hustle. I was able to see first-hand what the hustle of an entrepreneur looks like as I am the son of an entrepreneur. My father had his own bakery when we were young and watching him work the business he named after my brothers and I gave me a lot of pride and was my first peek at what it means to work hard for something you love. Because of this, a mindset of hustling for what you want was engrained in me. 

Years later, I saw my widowed mother hustling in order to raise three boys on her own. She worked many jobs and did what she could to support our family, but I always wanted to help. So, as a child I was constantly looking for ways to make money for the family. 

Back then, that meant doing a paper route, opening lemonade stands and even cleaning up and selling encyclopedias my brothers and I found in the trash so we could go door-to-door selling them. It wasn’t easy or very fulfilling work back then, but when you’re in the position of needing things you learn quickly that you have to do what you can. 

Today, it’s a little different. Fast forward years of very difficult yet fulfilling work as an entrepreneur, I feel extremely fortunate to be hustling each day in a business I’ve been able to create. And even better, in a business I’m truly passionate about. 

And when you’re passionate about what you’re doing it’s only natural to want to share it with others around you. 

I’ve always believed that the world around us reflects who we are and the decisions we make. Everyone has a decision to either be a creator or part of someone else’s creation, and with Asset Panda, my goal is to be a creator so that I can make a positive difference to those around me.
