Expressions of Interest Opened Today for Marina Square’s Landmark Food Waste Pilot—and Spots are Filling Fast!

Today marks a significant milestone as we officially open Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Australia's first decentralised food waste management pilot tailored specifically for high-rise apartment living at Marina Square, Parramatta.

Although we've set aside an entire month to recruit participants, the response has been incredible—it's looking like we'll reach our target of 50 households in just a few days!

At enrich360® | FOOD-FARM-FUTURE , as a passionate small Australian business committed to sustainability, we are proud to lead and fund this innovative 12-week pilot. Our mission is clear: demonstrate that decentralised food waste solutions that have been successful globally can also thrive right here in Australia.

Pilot Goals:

  • Divert over 3,000 kg of food waste from landfill within 12 weeks.
  • Achieve sustained engagement, with households continuing to use the Eco5 solution after the pilot concludes.
  • Foster powerful behavioural shifts by connecting residents directly to their food waste in ways they've never experienced before.
  • Reduce contamination and source separate food waste right where it’s created.

Beyond resident engagement, this pilot is pivotal for learning how to implement scalable decentralised food waste solutions, significantly reducing complexity for building management teams.

This Australian-first initiative is on track to redefine sustainability practices for urban communities, and we're thrilled by the momentum already building.

Stay tuned for updates—we're just getting started!
