Five ways to maintain Sanity when Nothing is Certain

COVID changed everything from what it was before, and we got time to see things in their real perspective. Health became much more important than so many other things. As they say, Change is certain however not always desired and we have a tendency to resist change, We aspire to live in Control and Certainty instead.

Life is uncertain and we are born without our consent, at least so do we think! When we are kids, we somehow do not care and are supported towards this fabric called life. Our first interaction is with the Mother, then we increase our Social Circle to other family members, sibling, friends, lovers, professional colleagues etc. All these people support us in becoming what we will later become in life.

There are other forces as well, which ensure that the delicate life that we are, stay intact, Few being our Farmers, Government, Medical Companies, Trade etc who support us, without even our asking. These institutions just exists for their sake, and we become the beneficiaries anyway.

Also, we can not forget the forces of nature like Sun, Moon, Rain, Animals, Microorganisms and many more which also support us in sustaining this fragile life that we are, and we also mostly forget to acknowledge and say thanks.

Considering these facts we can safely assume that we are supported in more ways than we can plan or worry about. But we don’t make this assertion, however we tie ourselves with the limited beliefs and patterns and starts worrying endlessly. This is one differentiator that separates Believers from Non-Believers. I have noted some Positive Statements or Assertions that we can remind ourselves, amidst chaos no matter what.

These are five assertions that we can use to our benefit:

1.     I am supported & Loved for what I need and this is the reason life energy chooses to stay with me, and while so many people didn’t wake up today morning, I am alive and kicking. There are wants and desires that I have and I will fulfill those as well, with the grace of the source that supports everything in this universe. I am much more than my desires and wants. They might remain unfulfilled, get fulfilled or subside away – I am the constant, and I am powerful.

2.     I choose to be in immense gratitude towards everyone. Those who love me, or don’t; who are kind, or not; who create opportunities or obstacles. I understand that my life is my doing, and I take full responsibility of it. There might be times when I appear to be burdened, I’ll overcome that as Joy is my intrinsic nature. People, situations etc only provide a framework and I decide to Thank and Bless everyone I encounter.

3.     I consciously choose to evolve every moment of this life, only adding a small delta of improvisation in me everyday. Also while evolving, in case I make some incorrect choices, I forgive myself of those as well, and correct them. As I am allowed to make mistakes, I also choose to be kind to those around me.

4.     I cannot be defined by what I achieve in life, I am much more than that. I do not give right to be offended by anybody who choose to judge me. It alright, people might have a perception for who I am and they can be right/wrong as well, however I choose to define who I am, and how I’ll act when faced with criticism or fear.

5.     I choose Love and Compassion for others and myself as well.

Life is much more than our worries and we empower ourselves when we choose consciously, and make our own belief system. Let's began to focus on solutions than the problems. Our Concerns or worries come and go, while we remain, Once we start to focus on ourselves rather than the concerns life becomes beautiful.
