About the Speaker
Dr. George Vélez MBA, DHA, FACHE is a nationally recognized transformational leader and retired Federal Senior Executive. As CEO of the VA Healthcare System of the Ozarks, he led the organization to three consecutive CMS Five-Star ratings and achieved major advances in Veteran care delivery. He currently serves as the VA Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a collaborator at the BIDMC Division of Clinical Informatics.
Dr. Vélez has led high-impact health initiatives on four continents, including the development of sustainable pediatric oncology programs in Latin America and the Middle East. Known for his clarity of vision and operational rigor, Dr. Vélez equips healthcare leaders with practical tools to achieve lasting impact under pressure.
