PicOS® 4.4.5 Beta Released: Advanced Security and Performance for L2 and L3 Networks

This month, FS has released the PicOS® 4.4.5 Beta, featuring extensive updates for Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionalities. This version introduces smooth restart support for OSPFv2/OSPFv3, enhances network security with IPv6 source protection, DHCP protection, and monitoring. It also improves network performance with new features such as lossless networking, PFC watchdog, and enhanced ECMP hashing (dynamic load balancing). Additionally, this release expands compatibility to include multiple switch models, including the N5850-48S6Q and N8550-64C.
