Global Hedera Takeover?

This month demonstrates our global impact: increased enterprise adoption with Arrow Electronics , public sector AI leadership, joining world leaders at Proof of Talk in Paris and shaping policy in Washington, Hedera and the Hashgraph team are helping build the trust layer for the digital economy… worldwide.

It was great to be back in Paris at Proof of Talk 2025

Last week, I had the privilege of joining some of the brightest minds in Web3, AI, and enterprise tech at Proof of Talk 2025 in Paris, a gathering of over 120 leaders shaping the next generation of digital innovation, and many web3 friends.

Being back in Paris, a city steeped in culture, creativity, and Web3 momentum, was inspiring. The conversations weren’t just future-focused; they were urgent, ambitious, and deeply practical.

At Proof of Talk, I had the opportunity to dive into a topic I believe will define the next decade: the convergence of AI and blockchain. From use cases to decentralized AI governance, we explored how businesses can harness this intersection to build trust, drive transparency, and unlock entirely new capabilities. I also had the pleasure of sitting down with Gareth Jenkinson from Cointelegraph for a wide-ranging interview on what it takes to bring enterprise into Web3 at scale. Watch here.

Arrow Electronics Joins Hedera Council

At Hashgraph , we often talk about how the enterprise journey to Web3 begins with real problems and real solutions. That’s exactly why I’m thrilled Arrow Electronics , a global leader in technology distribution, joined as the newest member of  Hedera Council.

Arrow is collaborating with Hedera to develop a standards-based, DLT-powered global supply chain initiative. By leveraging the network’s high throughput, low latency, and trustless consensus, Arrow aims to boost real-time visibility, streamline compliance, and sharpen logistics forecasting across its global footprint.

As a  Council Member, Arrow will operate a Hedera node and contribute to open-source innovation. This collaboration is a strong signal that enterprises are moving beyond experimentation and into full-scale DLT adoption. Read the announcement here.

Hedera Foundation, Accenture, and EQTY Lab Power Public Sector AI 

Responsible AI governance isn’t optional, it’s urgent. And the Hedera ecosystem is rising to the challenge.

Together with Accenture and EQTY Lab , Hedera Foundation and Hashgraph are delivering a transparent, tamper-proof solution to oversee AI and generative AI systems in the public sector. At the core of this collaboration: Verifiable Compute from EQTY Lab and the decentralized infrastructure of Hedera.

This initiative introduces an auditable, transparent, and sovereign AI oversight, enabling governments to retain authority over sensitive decision-making, even across distributed, cross-border systems. It’s a bold, necessary step forward, and another example of how DLT and AI can work together to rebuild trust in digital governance.

The Hedera Team Takes D.C.

Last week, the Hedera ecosystem headed to Washington, D.C.. To kick off the week,  our leaders participated in a high-impact day of dialogue on Capitol Hill., where blockchain policy and innovation took center stage. 

With remarks from Hedera Council Board Chair Bill Miller , Representative @Jeff Crank, and bipartisan voices like Representatives Young Kim and Gabe Amo , the conversations underscored the need for enterprise-grade solutions in public infrastructure.

Led by Nilmini Rubin , Chief Policy Officer, panels explored real-world blockchain use cases and forward-thinking regulation. The day wrapped with a dynamic lunch discussion on AI + DLT convergence, featuring Leemon Baird , FS Vector Milken Institute , and the Institute of International Finance ( Jessica Renier ).

Also, ahead of Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) ’s #BlockchainCentral, Hedera and GBBC gathered leaders across policy, tech and enterprise to advance U.S. digital asset policy during an evening reception held at the iconic Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. Giuseppe Bertone (Developer Advocate): “Learning new languages fast. Millions of thoughts, traditions, stories, ways of reasoning, ideas, culture, and relationships are all hidden behind language barriers. When I start learning a new language, it is like unlocking a new level of access to a world otherwise completely out of reach. It is exciting, rewarding and enriching, but it takes a long time. If I could master new languages more quickly, I would probably be a better man.”

Edward Wertz (Staff Software Engineer): “To comprehend any language, in the broadest sense.  Language is the intentional perturbation of one's environment with the intent of altering the mental state of another.”

Simi Hunjan (Senior Engineering Manager): “If I could instantly master any skill, it would be the ability to continually relearn — to stay curious, question what I know, and never assume I’ve figured it all out.”
