2yLong distance holydays are not sustainable, long distance traveling ( long times spent somewhere) can. What most of us do (5-10 days vacations) cannot be called sustainable when is done without cultural protection, quota system and protection for a diverse economy. Long way to go, but carbon offsets should be taken out , they are a false way to pay the shame out and are not effective.
