Halfway Through the Year: Time for a Financial Reality Check

Halfway Through the Year: Time for a Financial Reality Check

Welcome to 2025... and a half. As we come back from our Fourth of July vacations were are faced with the fact the we are smack dab in the middle of 2025

That means it's time for a mid-year financial check-in. And before you exit out of this email because you either

  1. Don't want to have this conversation on the Monday after a long weekend
  2. Don't want to face your finances
  3. or think that money and finances are boring

I want to remind you why The Wealth Cafe even exists

A year ago I was at yet another financial conference surrounded by so many incredibly wealthy men that were soaking up information and resources about different ways they and their clients could make even more money

And don't get me wrong I LOVE money-so much so that rather than being annoyed by the 100th older man that asked me if I could "just be a doll" and do xyz for him, I sat down in the front of the conference taking endless notes

I mean pages and pages of notes. And sending voice memos to other advisors I'm really good friends with on how we could use these tools to benefit our clients and expand our own practices

At the end of the conference I was still struggling with the level of gatekeeping happening around this information

I wanted to find a way to educate more people especially women who weren't hearing these conversations

At the end of the conference I had a 6am flight to make it to a speaking engagement out in Arizona. Low and behold another conference attendee also had an early flight time and she and I decided to split an Uber

During our 4am ride we debriefed and I shared with her my frustration around wanting to get more education and financial knowledge out there for women especially those at the executive level or later in their careers

From that one conversation with a semi-stranger, The Wealth Cafe was born. Here at both The Wealth Cafe and Tanis Financial Group, we believe that finances can be empowering. One conversation or connection can change your trajectory. Wealth is created to empower you and money is meant to be used to build your dream life.

So I encourage you to do a mid-year financial check-in. Even if it's not today you can bookmark this episode for later because it might be the reset or reminder you need for the rest of 2025

I also encourage you to share this with a friend as we continue to watch The Wealth Cafe community grow and flourish we want your loved ones, friends, and family to be a part of this.
