The Hardest 1000 Days of My Business
What hiding taught me about visibility, perfectionism and finding my voice.
When I walked away from a 23-year corporate career to become a full-time coach, I felt ready.
I’d spent years coaching on the side, supporting leaders, navigating change, guiding life transitions. I even got certified in business coaching, not just to build credibility, but because I genuinely wanted to make a real difference.
So I thought I knew what came next.
But when it was time to actually show up online?
I froze.
No videos. No content plan. Just… silence. And a whole lot of second-guessing.
From the outside, it looked like a visibility problem. But underneath?
It was perfectionism.
What I Believed (Without Even Realising It)
I thought I needed to have all the answers before I could coach. That every post had to be groundbreaking. That if it wasn’t profound, it wasn’t worth sharing.
Meanwhile, I was helping clients work through their mindset blocks while quietly wrestling with my own.
And that felt dissonant. Uncomfortable. Even a little isolating. Felt like an impostor.
The Shift
One day, it hit me:
I was waiting to feel ready. But that moment wasn’t coming.
So I stopped waiting.
I began showing up—slowly, imperfectly, honestly. Not with a polished “expert” voice, but with my own voice.
And something started to change.
I remembered a metaphor I once shared with a client:
If everyone’s out there serving chocolate ice cream, I don’t have to invent a new flavour. I just need to serve my strawberry.
Same intention. Same foundation. Just with my story. My voice.
What Happened Next
I started sharing what was real—conversations with clients, reflections that felt raw, moments of self-doubt and clarity. Not from a high place of -Look how much I know- but from -Here’s what I’m learning.
And people responded.
Over time, I doubled my reach on LinkedIn. Not by becoming a content machine but just by becoming visible. First to myself, then to others.
If You’re Feeling Stuck Too…
Whether you’re an architect, interior designer, consultant and if you feel like you’re doing everything “right” but still not gaining traction…
Pause and ask:
What quiet story might be holding me back?
Because it might not be your content strategy. Or your niche. Or the algorithm.
It might be something softer. Something deeper.
Like the fear of not being enough. Or the belief that your voice has to be the loudest or the most original to be worthy.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
That’s what people connect with.
Start Here
That’s where the real magic begins.
So if this resonates, I’m inviting you to take one small step today.
Not to post. Not to publish. Just to ask yourself:
What truth have I been holding back because it’s not perfect yet?
Start there.
Because that truth, in your voice, might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
And if you’re ready to show up with more clarity, confidence, and alignment I’m here.
Send me a message. I’d be honored to support your next step.
You’ve already done the hard part: becoming who you are. Now let the world hear you.

3moThis really hits home! Anshul Sinha Many times, it’s not about the strategy; it’s the inner blocks that silently hold us back. I’ve seen this with so many professionals I mentor; they're doing all the “right” things, yet something feels stuck. Sometimes, what we need is not another tweak in our offer, but a deeper shift in mindset and belief. Looking forward to your newsletter, this is a conversation more people need to have!
