This brand is completely new to Facebook ads and had to actually make a Facebook page + Ad account + SHOPIFY SITE before starting with us. 😵 They’re in the custom metal sign niche!

Normally this isn’t our ideal client, but they had a very successful business on another platform and they were looking to expand into other revenue sources. 🤔

Starting off with a brand new ad account + Facebook page is difficult due to the lack of data Facebook has on your ideal audience. Luckily we had some customer lists from the other platform which allowed us to build some pretty helpful lookalike audiences...

Not to mention, we also had a brand new Shopify site that hasn’t been battle-tested yet...

We went straight into building character persona’s, testing products, digging into the consumer psychology of our ideal audience, etc…

The first month we did decent for a brand new store but wasn’t profitable. 🤔

In the second month, we guided some website tweaks and increased the conversion rate on the site, which resulted in more sales.

Still at barely breakeven. 😐

In the third month, we had a single campaign take off and we were able to scale it up! This resulted in our first month of profit for the client. 🤩

Now going into our fifth month together, we’ve been able to keep scaling and hitting their first $100,000+ month in revenue from Facebook Ads. 😎

We’re sitting almost at a 3X ROAS for this month and a 2.5 ROAS overall on the ad account since starting together. 💸

We still got a lot of plans for this account and will continue to scale as the year goes by.

Biggest things about this account:

  • Patience from both us and the client. The client was very understanding this is an investment and will take a few months to hit profits due to the brand new ad account, site, and page.
  • Persistence on our end to continue to test, research, and deploy new ads.
  • Overall a big testing budget set aside to get the store going, pay for the ads, and our retainer.
