Hyve Managed Hosting Partners With Digital Realty to Expand Global Capacity and Strengthen Resilience

Hyve’s first London City deployment under the new partnership offers ultra-low latency, strong resilience, and scalability to support company’s global growth

Global provider of managed hosting solutions, Hyve Managed Hosting, today announces a partnership with Digital Realty, the leading global provider of cloud- and carrier-neutral data center, colocation, and interconnection solutions. The collaboration supports Hyve Managed Hosting’s expansion strategy by granting it access to Digital Realty’s global network of over 300 data centres in more than 25 countries via ServiceFabric®, Digital Realty’s global interconnection solution.

This partnership also directly supports Hyve’s strategy of diversifying its critical infrastructure to strengthen resilience. By working with a range of industry-leading providers offering data centre and infrastructure services, the company can deliver truly bespoke solutions that reflect business needs and are not limited by individual vendor capabilities.

Hyve selected Digital Realty’s LON2 data centre, located between the Square Mile and East London’s Tech City, as the site for the inaugural deployment. The facility offers enterprise-grade infrastructure, backed by 17 consecutive years of 99.999% uptime, and is matched with  100% renewable energy.

LON2 offers ultra-low latency and robust connectivity, making it ideal for Hyve customers, especially in financial services. Integrated into Digital Realty’s London Metro Connect, it facilitates high-speed links to its other key sites across London, including the Docklands. As part of this interconnectivity, LON2 provides direct access to internet exchanges, carriers, managed service providers, and major public cloud platforms, with seamless integration into Hyve’s infrastructure.

'Our partnership with Digital Realty is not just about "more data centre space"; it's an important strategic step to further diversify and strengthen our vendor ecosystem, enhance service resilience and bolster disaster recovery capabilities for our customers' mission-critical workloads,” says Jake Madders, Director and Co-Founder, Hyve Managed Hosting. “We are starting our partnership strong by launching a new deployment at the high-performance LON2 site, which significantly increases our capacity to support ultra-low latency, enterprise-grade applications for our customers”.
“We’re proud to support Hyve as it expands its global footprint. Our platform of highly interconnected data centres offers the flexibility, resilience, and proximity to markets that fast-growing provider like Hyve need to scale confidently and deliver best-in-class services to their customers worldwide, from financial institutions to technology companies and everything in between,” says Seamus Dunne, Managing Director, Digital Realty in the UK and Ireland.

Having just launched the new Central London site, Hyve Managed Hosting is already further exploring opportunities for other global deployments through its partnership with Digital Realty. The company is particularly focused on the U.S. and North America, where it is rapidly growing its customer base and strengthening market presence, as well as the APAC region, where Hyve is currently evaluating the market opportunities for a potential new regional hub.
