I Used to Post and Hear Crickets. Here’s What Changed.

I Used to Post and Hear Crickets. Here’s What Changed.

LinkedIn used to feel like a ghost town for me.

I’d write what I thought was a great post…

Hit publish…

And then: silence.

No likes.

No DMs.

Just crickets.

It wasn’t because my ideas were bad.

It was because I didn’t know how to communicate them the LinkedIn way.

Here’s what I changed and how it transformed everything:

1. I fixed my hooks.

Most people scroll. A powerful first line stops the scroll.

Examples that worked for me:

• “Nobody talks about this founder mistake…”

• “I almost gave up — until this happened.”

• “Most people are doing LinkedIn all wrong.”

2. I simplified the format.

I used to write paragraphs.

Now I write like this —

clean, sharp, and punchy.

It’s easier to read. Easier to remember. Easier to engage.

3. I started commenting daily.

Not just random comments.

Real ones.

Personal insights, stories, or disagreements — especially on posts from big creators.

This built visibility fast.

4. I treated my CTA like a conversation.

Instead of “Buy now” or “DM me” —

I asked for one-word replies.

Things like:

“Want my system? Drop ‘ENGAGE’ below and I’ll send it.”

That one shift alone boosted comments by 5x.

Bottom line?

LinkedIn is not just about what you post

It’s how you frame it, deliver it, and play the algorithm game like a human.

You don’t need to be an influencer.

You just need to show up strategically.

Struggling with reach?

Drop ‘Engage’ and I’ll send you my full LinkedIn playbook.

Let’s grow together.
