IMPACT WEEK: Dialogues and Action Towards a Coherence and New Future
Exactly 45 days ago when we gathered in Singapore for IMPACT WEEK 2025, the energy felt different. It was not just another conference of panels, speeches, and handshakes. It was something more alive — a coalition of ideas in motion, a glimpse of what happens when financiers and investors sit alongside impact project developers, and when family offices listen to the voices of youth. The question in the room was not “how much can we raise, or what impact project to support” but something deeper: what is it all for, if we our collective well-being is not uplifted?
This change in outlook shift matters. It shows that the impact movement is growing beyond its transactional roots and into a living ecosystem of purpose, coherence, and interdependence. For the NO.17 Foundation , a organisation still new to the world but rooted in decades of stewardship by the Tsao Pao Chee and Chavalit Frederick Tsao , this is exactly the terrain we were created to serve.
IMPACT WEEK is created to serve and build this coherence ecosystem. We have started our inaugural week welcoming more than 4,000 participants across philanthropy, business, academia, government, and civil society and convened over 200 sessions creating our mandate to serve.
IMPACT WEEK and Understanding the role of NO.17
IMPACT WEEK moved NO.17 from a “mystery to mandate" As we continue to build NO.17 our mandate is clear: we are here to stitch what is fragmented, to host coherence across capital, culture, governance, and community. Unlike traditional philanthropy that writes cheques or advocacy that campaigns from the outside, NO.17 is stepping into the role of orchestrator and building systemic transformation: mobilising capital flows as a value chain rather than isolated pools, scoping innovative approaches and building a coalition that catalytically implement project portfolios for long-term impact. Our task is not only to deploy capital, but to redefine relationship to wealth itself as an expression of care, regeneration, and collective well-being for all.
What IMPACT WEEK has Revealed
IMPACT WEEK 2025 revealed a decisive shift from conversation to coherence, from pledges to portfolios. Across the week, 8 landmark commitments signaled that the architecture of the well-being economy is beginning to take form.
The Impact Partners Coalition united 16 institutions from Temasek Foundation and GAEA (WEF) to OceanX and NO.17 Foundation under one shared covenant: to weave finance, education, nature restoration, and governance into a single system of transformation. The TPC–Climate KIC Asia Roadmap now embed this spirit through collaborative action in climate, health, and education, while the 99 for Humanity Initiative reimagines philanthropy through architectures of collective capital.
At the structural level, WEGA—the Well-being & EESG Alliance between TPC and NUS—places well-being at the heart of economic measurement, shifting EESG from compliance to consciousness. The US$ 75 million Ocean Fund, the region’s largest, redefines finance as a vessel of regeneration. New initiatives the UN SDSN GBA–ASEAN Alliance and the Social Transformation Project at Fengshan translate these principles into practice: linking cities, communities, and families into one ecosystem for flourishing of life for all.
Taken together, these announcements show that Asia is not following global trends it is shaping them. IMPACT WEEK revealed that the future economy will be built not through competition, but through co-stewardship, coherence, care and love the cornerstones of a new civilisation of well-being.
The Next Building Blocks of Transformation
As IMPACT WEEK moves everyone from intention to execution, the challenge before us is not merely to sustain momentum, but to deepen coherence. The following five building blocks offer pathways to embed well-being and systemic transformation into the fabric of how Asia and the world creates, collaborates, and invests.
