Inside Gousto's new London HQ
We’ve completed the move to our new London HQ! This comes after months of planning and is a big step forward as we prepare for major expansion in 2019.
Our new London home is in Shepherd’s Bush – just a few minutes walk from Shepherd’s Bush Central, Hammersmith, District and Overground lines.
Our second UK home is a couple of hours away in Spalding, which is where our Fulfilment Centre is located.
Gousto is already one of the UK’s biggest direct-to-consumer food brands. We deliver millions of meals, 7-days-a-week, to customers across the UK. Since everything we do is about food, we’ve purpose-built a new recipe development kitchen onsite.
The move gives us room for growth as we plan to create 100 new jobs next year in London and Spalding. Most of these roles will be in engineering and data, in order to help us apply technology to our love of food.
Our aspirations for growth extend far beyond where we are now. We want to make home cooking healthy and fun for millions of households. Achieving this comes down to culture and teamwork. This is why we're proud to display our ownership principles on the walls, which encourage ambition, collaboration and impact.
Moving our London HQ is another step forward in what has been exciting year at Gousto. So far in 2018, we've:
- Invested heavily into our Spalding Fulfilment Centre and superstar team – including raising salaries by 15%
- Kicked off our sustainability pledge to cut plastic by 50% next year
- Launched 'Unbox Possibility' – our new nationwide advertising campaign
- Significantly shifted forward our use of data and artificial intelligence
... and lots more behind the scenes! We're looking forward to another big year in 2019.
