upGrad GSP attends The PIE Live Europe 2025
Last 11–12 March, our team attended The PIE Live Europe 2025 in London to connect with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and policy-makers in the UK and Europe. We gained valuable insights on the latest in international education in the region, and we’re ready to apply these fresh perspectives and best practices to forge new and improved partnerships with institutions this year.

📅 1 May – Closing date for late applications at the University of Galway
📅 2 May – London Metropolitan University's latest date to issue CAS
📅 9 May – Last day to issue CAS (non-priority service) at the University of East London
📅 12 May – End of Round 5 applications at the University of Glasgow
📅 14 May – Last day to receive UCAS offers from UWE Bristol
Scholarships
🏆 Middlesex University’s regional awards grant up to £5,000 towards course fees for the first year of students with high levels of academic excellence in their previous studies.
🏆 University College Birmingham offers an Early Action Scholarship, available to all new international students who meet the payment deadlines.
🏆 Postgraduate Solutions has launched five new £2,000 bursaries for postgraduate students starting at the University of Brighton in 2025.
🏆 Eligible applicants of the University of Portsmouth will be considered for the merit-based Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship, which awards a £5,000 fee reduction for their first year of study.
🏆 Independent College has launched a scholarship offer for September 2025, with discounts available equal to 10% of tuition fees.
Other updates
🔔 The University of Greenwich has extended the deadline for its Early Confirmation Scholarship for the September 2025 intake to 15 April.
🔔 Dublin City University's DC836 - MSc in Computing (with Major Options) program is now closed for the September 2025 intake.
🔔 Classes for the September 2025 intake at Independent College will commence the week of 1st September 2025 and a two-week grace period will be available for late enrolments and/or delayed arrivals.
🔔 The University of Roehampton has closed BA Liberal Arts for September 2025. It has also suspended BSc Business and Law and MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (next entry is September 2026).
🔔 All available enrolment places have been claimed at Independent College: Level 8 BA (Hons) in Business Studies [Year 1], Level 8 BA (Hons) in Marketing [Year 1], Level 8 BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance [Year 1, Year 2, Year 3] and Level 9 MA in Dispute Resolution.
