Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Everett, WA. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Assistant Regional Administrator for the Snohomish/King Area, this position is responsible for delivering assigned highway construction projects as part of the region’s construction program. The Construction Project Engineer ensures projects are completed on scope, on schedule, and within budget while integrating into their surroundings, serving all modes of transportation, and minimizing impacts to the traveling public. This role plays a key part in implementing regional and statewide procedures to meet performance measures and biennial commitments, while incorporating sustainable practices and championing safety throughout project delivery. By leading these efforts, the Construction Project Engineer directly supports WSDOT’s mission to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options that strengthen communities and support economic vitality.
