Job Opportunity: Highway Maintenance Worker Lead in Cathlamet, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker 3 to join the Southwest Region (SWR) Maintenance & Operations team in Cathlamet, WA. This position works under the supervision of Highway Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Superintendents and provides leadership to entry- and journey-level Highway Maintenance Workers.  In addition, the Highway Maintenance Worker 3 performs highway, roadside, infrastructure, and right-of-way maintenance along state routes and surrounding areas. This role requires an experienced technician who can lead by example, remain effective under pressure, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. A strong commitment to safety is essential, as daily duties include operating heavy equipment, maintaining roadway sub-sections, and conducting snow and ice removal. Through this work, the position advances WSDOT’s mission of providing safe roads for the efficient movement of commerce and the traveling public.
