Job Opportunity: Winter Highway Maintenance Workers in Area 2, South Central Region, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill multiple non-permanent Highway Maintenance Worker positions for the winter maintenance season in South Central Region, Area 2 (East Selah, Rimrock, and Toppenish). The successful candidates will help keep Washington’s highways safe and open by performing snow and ice removal, repairing guardrail and signs, patching potholes, clearing brush and trees, maintaining drainage systems, and providing traffic control to protect both the traveling public and work crews. Working under the direction of a Highway Maintenance Worker 3 and the supervision of a Highway Maintenance Supervisor, these positions play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient movement of people, goods, and services.
