THE BRAG BOOK

We decided the month of August was a good time to reflect on our achievements at BlockTexx®, many still behind the scenes.

We have tackled the hard to recycle blended materials so prevalent in our wardrobes, added further complexity by targeting what the fashion and textile industry calls post-consumer...which is simply lived in, loved and used to the point of being unwanted.

We can do all this world leading technical stuff at scale and we are now scaling further.

The unwanted is now wanted and fibre to fibre became a reality. PolyTexx® made new textile fibres that are better for the environment, plus new fabrics and garments to course correct a wayward fast fashion industry. We have looked back into the supply chain to redesign workwear, reduce recycling costs and drive employment across the sector.

Fibre to products began with plastic moulds to form household products and now sporn buttons, zippers and clothes hangers.

We can connect the consumer closer to their clothes through storytelling, TraceTexx® guides, validates and certifies a close loop system.

Some of our best work is yet to be seen, CellTexx® aims to return more to the planet than just another garment.

IP Australia Report

We were delighted to host Intellectual Property Australia at our Loganholme facility. The Australian IP Report 2025 featured BlockTexx® as a highlight to the increased registration of patents and trademarks for innovation in environmentally focussed businesses.

The reports findings included:

How Australia’s flexible intellectual property (IP) system plays a critical role in supporting research, development, and innovation.

By strategically timing patent examination outcomes, small innovators can manage costs while attracting investment and marketing their products.

This leads to more commercialised products and greater lifetime value to your IP assets.

Bigger players benefit from expediting their applications to hit the market faster.
