LEARNING FROM LIFE

LEARNING FROM LIFE

I have tried all my life to live a life where I don’t feel ashamed of myself and work towards helping people live a great life. In this process I learnt some very valuable lessons which I am sharing with you all today. May be some of you will find it useful in your personal life.

1. ANGER IS NOT WORTH IT: Most mistakes in life are made when you are angry so always avoid anger and get over anger as soon as possible. It is difficult but you can control it.

2. RELATIONSHIPS DO MATTER: Life is short and relationships do matter and its important that we forge good relations with both people above and below us. But at the end have a great relations with your family because that is the one which is not based on reciprocal response.

3. YOU CANT LIE TO YOURSELF: People tend to protect themselves by saying things that ARE NOT RIGHT. But always remember that unless your inner self and the outer self is the same nothing happens in life. Don’t try and fool yourself as it will never give you results.

4. KINDNESS IS ALWAYS REWARDED: Be kind to people and help them in their journey. I never give money in any temple or to anyone claiming to do social service. I just take care of those poor who are connected with me like my maid, driver, gardener etc. You know who is getting the benefit and that is very satisfying.

5. YOU HAVE ONLY ONE LIFE: Let me tell you that you don’t have more than one life and please don’t let it go a waste. Do everything you want to do in this life as the next one may never come.

6. FEAR IS AN ILLUSION: We are all captivated by fear of the uncertainties in life. Remember that life would be so boring if we knew what would happen tomorrow. Learn to live life one day at a time and you will really enjoy it.

7. WHAT YOU HAVE TODAY IS NOT REQUIRED TOMORROW: As we age we develop the habit of not wanting the things that we have accumulated over the years. Over time things that are important to us in early years of life have no value in the later years.

8. AT THE END YOU WILL BE ALONE: The faster you learn this the better you are prepared. You can have parents, brothers, sisters, friends, and your own kids but let me tell you that at the end it’s just you and your spouse and nothing else.

9. DON’T CARRY YOUR PAST: Your past is your biggest enemy as it does not let you move forward in life. Take each day as a new day with a new beginning and make the best of it. You can’t change the past so focus on the future.

10. YOU CAN BE WRONG AS WELL: Never assume that you are perfect. You are just human and you can make mistakes. It’s ok to assume that there are people in this world who are smarter than you but they never got a chance in life.

Words of wisdom! Thanks Kamlesh!
