Life After Lambo - Catching up with our Competition Winner!

What do you do after you win a Lamborghini worth over a whopping 120K? We sat down with Jerome, our recent competition winner to take us through the past couple of months becoming the proud owner of a Gold Lamborghini Huracan.

After taking home the life-changing prize, we wondered whether the win had yet sunk in for Jerome,"It's still sinking in but I think i've managed to get my head around things now. I've never won anything and i was so sceptical at first, I thought the boys we're pulling a prank on me".

When asked how his family reacted to the win Jerome explained that it was the face of his 5-year-olds daughter that was the most unforgettable moment, "All my family were made up for me, but it was picking up my 5-year-old daughter from school in the Lambo, seeing her face was unforgettable!". In regards to how people in his local community reacted to the Gold Lamborghini driving through their neighbourhood, Jerome said "I've had people running after the car trying to take photos and videos. A lot of people thought I was Charlie Sloth!". The car was bound to be a head turner, with Jerome adding that "Wherever you park up, it instantly draws a lot of attention, people hound you for photos or tell you how their brother's neighbours uncle once had a Lambo!". Putting the win to good use Jerome visited parents and kids around his local community with their reactions being priceless having "made their days". Personally, Jerome says that this win has "set the foundation for me and my family" as he is left "feeling blessed to have this amazing opportunity".

With speculation that Jerome had sold the supercar he informed us that the supercar did indeed have a new owner. After being contacted by a private buyer, he was made an offer he couldn't refuse. So what will he do with the Lambo money, Jerome has already put in a couple of plans, "I'm in the process of buying my first house for me and my family which is a dream come true as I now have a source of long term security. I've also paid for my wedding and I have a nice lump sat in the bank to give me peace of mind for times ahead".

We wrapped up the catch up by getting into how the win has changed the navigation of Jerome's life, "My life has improved dramatically, I have things to look forward to and find myself smiling a lot more", thanking the Au Team Jerome said "I'm so grateful to the Au Vodka team for giving back to everyday people, I can now create a decent life for me and mine!"

Jerome says he still drinks Au Vodka and he's tried every flavour apart from our new Pineapple Crush flavour which he promises he will be purchasing soon!
