'Light is searching for YOU'
They say "You lose 100% of the chances you don't take", its a very obvious quote and maybe many of us share it or say it often. But in spite of it being easy and direct, it has a deep meaning and a comprehensive value. I see a world full of Clichés, quotes and sayings that are never put into action, one of them is this simple quote I'm mentioning today.
It has 2 very valuable words in life - or at least to me - First is 'Lose' a word that appears in a world that hates loss and losers, it loves to win even if it makes everything wrong - we are not here to say what's right and wrong from my perspective, but lets say wrong is just the obvious and cruel wrong of crushing and destroying others and their dreams - also a world where we are all born to win, never to lose, all people talking about motivation and success and reaching their goals, some just for personal agendas others are true; but in all cases the value of this motivation and its effectiveness has dropped so much in the last decade.
The other word is 'Chance', which is maybe paired with the word luck, its definition varies by philosophical, religious, mystical, or emotional context of the one interpreting it; some definitions say luck is "a purposeless, unpredictable and uncontrollable force that shapes events favorably or unfavorably for an individual, group or cause".Yet the author Max Gunther defines it as "events that influence one's life and beyond one's control"
To hit my point here, I want to say that there are chances in this life, which is the part that is uncontrollable by anyone of us, as we think, and there another part which is winning or losing these chances, by hard work and patience and having faith in what you want.
Inspired by the tremendous difference of results reached by a person who wins a great chance and another who loses one to stay where he is or even is drawn back further, comes this sense of importance.
Many of us may say I don't have good luck, I didn't have the chance, If I had the chance, I would have done so and so; I'm in search for the light and have worked on myself and what have been given to me but didn't succeed and then starts entering a loop of desperate trials and pessimism.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to motivate you or push yo to move on, I'm just trying to make all of us look at the picture in another way, and here it is: Life is full of chances, you say I'm in search for a chance, I'm in search for light, but the real different mindset is that I'm so desperate to get a chance, that I messed up the chance itself, I messed up the reason of the chance to choose me, Yes I'm saying chances choose us; while we think we are in search for the light, others concentrate on themselves and their progress till Light goes searching for them; they work so hard, not accepting good, - good is the biggest enemy for perfect they say - but keep on pushing and excelling till the light has no other choice, even if it tries to choose another it will eventually and honorably choose them.
We terribly need this mindset.. Go for your dream and start it all in yourself, don't search for the light, as Light is searching for YOU.
