You might not see yourself as a leader, but I do.
You’re smart, successful, and strong. Success should be shared. Share yours. Leading out loud builds the ladder for someone else to climb.
As women and underrepresented voices, we don’t shrink anymore. Sharing our success is the new standard.
Your success isn’t yours alone, others helped you get here. Now it’s your turn to return the favor.
THE SCOOP
Join me virtually on May 8th for my next SkillPop class: Elevate Your LinkedIn.
INSTAGRAM: This doesn’t feel like a feature that will stick around. It seems complicated and clunky. I get what they’re trying to do - make Reels more relevant and shareable among friend groups, but this feels funky to navigate.
LINKEDIN: I’m a fan of photo posts that include links. This study contradicts the widely held belief in the social media industry that links in LinkedIn posts hurt performance.
META: It seems obvious, but TikTok has certainly eaten into time spent on Meta’s platforms.
SOCIAL MEDIA: If you feel any bit of overwhelm after just reading the headline of this article, do not click on it. It’s not worth it. I hate that social media is so overwhelming and people get sucked into the feeling that they’re missing out if they’re not on XYZ platform. Only read it if you’re genuinely curious and it won’t suck you into a feeling that you’re not doing enough.
TIKTOK: Community Notes are now expanding to another platform - from X, to Meta, to TikTok.
YOUTUBE: Help build and test features for YouTube.

NEXT STEPS WITH ME: Build Your Power Presence
After more than 10 years of building my own personal brand and helping corporate leaders and public figures do the same, I’ve seen one big roadblock stop just about everyone:
“What should I post?!”
It’s the question I get asked the most. And it’s the one thing that keeps so many smart, talented professionals from showing up online the way they want to - with confidence, clarity, and consistency.
So I decided it’s time to do something about it.
I’m launching a brand new group experience just for passionate women and underrepresented voices who are ready to own their voice, grow their visibility, and finally get the recognition they deserve, especially on LinkedIn and beyond.
Whether you’re leading a team, launching something new, or simply ready to step into a bigger version of yourself, this is for you.
You’ll get coaching, community, personalized guidance from me (I've personally crafted tens of thousands of social media posts over the last 15 years so yes, I can help you figure out exactly what to say) and all the support you need to build a personal brand that actually feels like you.
It’ll be small and intimate, probably limited to around 10 people, and it’s launching soon.
