Not looking for a new job? I would love to speak with you.
Unless desperately unhappy, or at risk of redundancy, most people don’t tend to explore what other career opportunities are available to them. Caught up with the ‘here and now’, the majority continue in their current roles, sheltered from what the wider market has to offer and unaware of opportunities that could vastly improve their career, and earnings, potential.
It is only when you take the time to speak with an experienced, specialist recruiter that you are able to really understand how your current role and remuneration compares to the wider market. Of course, after doing so, you may well conclude that you actually have it pretty good where you are. In that situation, you can rest easy in the knowledge that you are in a good situation and should put all your efforts into your current role. Equally you may have your eyes opened to better options. Either way, time well spent.
The majority of individuals that I go on to place weren't initially looking for a new role when I first approached them and typically pretty adamant on this. It is only when they take the time to have a conversation, to find out what opportunities lie outside of their current organisations, that they decide it's worthy of further investigation. They are now arguably in far better companies with far better prospects.
If you are a Financial Planner and are interested in having an open, honest chat to evaluate your current circumstances and discover what the wider market has to offer, please get in touch.
You may well ultimately decide that the grass isn’t greener, but surely it’s better to know?
