The numbers are in and they're extraordinary! Our latest Impact Report reveals the incredible scale of transformation our global community of young leaders is creating worldwide.

With a remarkable social return on investment ratio of $1:16, our Ambassadors prove that investing in young leaders delivers exceptional value for society. This means for every $1 invested in their initiatives, they generate $16 of positive social impact – a testament to the exponential power of purpose-driven leadership.

The headline numbers speak volumes:

• 8.1 million people were directly impacted by Ambassador-led initiatives featured in this year's report
• 1.3 million tonnes of CO2 emissions mitigated through their environmental projects
• $747 million in social value generated across communities worldwide

These achievements span all 17 Sustainable Development Goals and reach communities across eight global regions, proving that young leaders are tackling the world's most pressing challenges with innovative, scalable solutions.

Corporate Champions: Spotlight on our Impact

Two standout corporate case studies demonstrate how our partnerships amplify social change:

🚴 BMW Group 's Micromobility Revolution: Florian Marz , Vittorio Guerrero Mercado, and Kilian Kaiser from Germany have revolutionised mobility access in developing countries through their innovative microcredit programme. Their initiative provides financial means for people to purchase bicycles, transforming lives where walking is often the only option for accessing education and employment. Starting with 130 bicycles in Zambia in 2018, they now finance approximately 100 bicycles annually. As one team member shared: "One Young World has been an outstanding experience to share and discuss our ideas with an international community. It was an exceptional platform to present and elevate our social business."

⚖️ Reckitt 's Leadership Pipeline Success: Julián David Padilla Vivas 's journey exemplifies how corporate scholarship programmes create a lasting impact. Starting as a Reckitt Scholar at the One Young World Summit Bogotá 2017, Julián has risen to become the youngest Latino on the CEO's leadership board at Reckitt's global headquarters. His work spans from delivering human rights training to Venezuelan migrants to influencing corporate sustainability at the highest levels. After presenting to Reckitt's CEO at the Summit, he received a $50,000 grant to scale his community protection initiatives. Today, he continues to leverage his corporate platform for inclusive growth and environmental stewardship, proving that business truly can be a force for good.

These partnerships demonstrate that when corporations invest in young talent through One Young World, they're not just developing future leaders – they're catalysing immediate social transformation at scale.

🤖 Graduates are losing out to AI

UK graduate job openings are down over 20%, with many of the core responsibilities of entry-level jobs, such as research, drafts, and admin, now being done by a single employee using generative AI. A generation is entering the workforce without a clear path to begin. Qualifications no longer guarantee opportunity, and AI itself has become a double‑edged sword: essential to compete, yet often penalised by recruiters wary of overreliance.

Today, 343 million people around the world are facing acute hunger, according to the World Food Programme. In Rwanda, our Ambassador Isabelle Kamariza is taking action.

Through a farm-to-fork approach, she provides meals to at-risk groups, including low-income hospital patients and school children, at no charge. To date, Isabelle has delivered over 8.8 million medically tailored meals to hospital patients and 666,000+ nutritious meals to children.
