March 2025

Welcome to the first edition of our I-MED Insights newsletter. We have started the year with a series of innovative steps all designed to make the radiology experience at I-MED better for patients and healthcare professionals alike. We are constantly finding new ways to continue to provide the answers patients and practitioners need and to deliver better health outcomes in Australia and New Zealand.

Here are some of the steps we have taken already in 2025:

An opportunity to provide Report Feedback

We have enabled Report Feedback on a specific I-MED radiology report for referring practitioners. Our radiologists are actively seeking this feedback as it helps us consistently evaluate and improve the clinical value of I-MED reports. Medical practitioners who refer patients to I-MED can provide feedback on the quality and comprehensiveness of a specific I-MED Radiology report by accessing the link at the bottom of the report.

Closing the healthcare loop

At I-MED Radiology, we are dedicated to leading the way in medical imaging by integrating cutting-edge technologies across our extensive network. Our innovative digital patient journey is designed to enhance accessibility and streamline the radiology experience for both patients and referrers.

National Lung Cancer Screening Program Webinar 13th May

July 1 will see the introduction of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) which aims to achieve better health outcomes for Australians by detecting lung cancer early and reducing deaths from lung cancer. The program will employ low dose computed tomography (LDCT) scans to look for lung cancer in high-risk asymptomatic people.  As primary care providers, GPs will be responsible for providing patient referrals into the program.  As Australia’s largest provider of imaging services, we will offer this screening across most of our I-MED clinics nationwide.

We will hold a national webinar on Tuesday 13th May, 6:30pm AEST, focusing on the eligibility criteria, the screening pathway and how the screening process will work.

Keep an eye on our LinkedIn for registration details.
