Brenda Atieno, Training Assistant - Learning Delivery, Kenya
Brenda worked as an Assistant Coordinator in an organization that focuses on empowering women and preparing them for leadership opportunities. Prior to joining the core team at CloudFactory, she was a CloudWorker for almost two years. She joined CloudFactory because of the opportunity to learn, earn and serve. She was drawn to the role of Training Assistant-Learning Delivery because it gives her the chance to impact lives positively through the learning opportunities that the CloudFactory Academy offers. Brenda’s hobbies include nature walks, hiking, traveling, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and relaxing with her family.
Charly Cogger, Senior Client Success Manager, UK
Charly spent the last 11 years in client-facing roles at MarTech and AdTech, spanning account management, customer success, and solutions consulting. Most recently, she led Customer Success for Signal EMEA. Charly was drawn to CloudFactory because of our mission to connect one million people in the developing world to digital work, not only to address poverty but to help them become leaders worth following. She thrives on becoming the client's voice within a business, helping understand and translate complex business needs while solving problems in partnership with others. Outside of being a mum to a two year old, Charly loves running, yoga, and cooking.
Dollie Shah, Associate Community Manager, Nepal
Before joining CloudFactory, Dollie worked in a number of NGOs and Voluntary organizations, along with various freelancing projects based on SDGs, COP 26, and social sectors. Dollie has experienced a variety of organizational cultures in the past, so she highlights a major reason for joining CloudFactory as the culture we provide here. In particular, she likes our flexible approach as it helps her perform at her best.
Dorcas Wangare Karanja, Associate Community Manager, Kenya
Dorcas has worked at Safaricom PLC, Kings Connect, and Makaya Hub where she developed competencies in project management, youth programming, sustainable business, and social impact strategies. She was drawn to CloudFactory's impact sourcing model, in our mission to create one million work opportunities for people in developing countries, while nurturing them to become leaders worth following. Dorcas loves that her new role allows her to engage and resource the Cloud workforce, as a means to contribute to inclusive economic growth and holistic leadership development. Outside of work she enjoys savoring books, glamping, and gardening.
Fletcher Fair, Associate Corporate Strategy, USA
Fletcher has a background in healthcare engineering, having worked for Duke Health's Performance Services department, where he supported Quality Analytics and Patient Flow. He joined CloudFactory because of the unique opportunity to support an incredible mission, while doing really exciting work! He enjoys working in strategy because of being able to interact with a variety of people and helping ensure the business is well positioned to continue to thrive. In his free time Fletcher loves to play golf and volunteer with the youth at his church.
Michael Tabron, Senior Industry Solutions Marketing Manager, USA
Michael joins us from SUSE (pronounced “SOO-zah”) where he was a Product Marketing Manager for three Linux distributions. Prior to that he was at IBM in a variety of roles including hardware engineering, channels marketing, product management, and product marketing. He joined CloudFactory for the opportunity to learn about the AI market and technology, and to contribute to the mission of creating one million jobs for people who have the talent but may not have the opportunity to use it. He enjoys product and solution marketing because it gives him the opportunity to help customers find solutions to business problems while staying close to the technology. Michael lives in the Raleigh-Durham area and enjoys flight simulations and scenic photography.
Puja Shahi, Community Assistant, Nepal
Puja first heard about CloudFactory through her brother, who inspired her to join the business as a CloudWorker. After two and half years with the Cloud workforce, she has now joined the core team in the role of Community Assistant. One of the things that Puja says she likes about CloudFactory is it doesn’t feel like there’s a hierarchy, as you can have a great talk with anyone and ask anyone for help, regardless of their position. Outside of work she likes to go out for a hike, try new places for food, and watch Netflix.
Timo Karuri, Orientation Assistant, Kenya
Timo has over five years of experience in leadership training. He transitioned to IT and project management in 2018 and got the opportunity to join CloudFactory in 2019 as a CloudWorker through the CloudFactory Academy. Our culture immediately intrigued him and he knew that he wanted to grow and be part of the organization for many years to come. He loves the fact he is now getting the opportunity to mentor and inspire other CloudWorkers into the culture of Earning, Learning, and Serving, and is also able to share his story with them. Outside of work Timo enjoys working on his podcast "Proactive", watching anime, and dancing to good music.
We're in a very high growth stage of our journey and are currently looking for talented and passionate people who want to join our mission! If you’d like to make a difference and work with an incredible bunch of people, take a look at our current career opportunities.
