Meet SnarketingBot: How a Joke with ChatGPT Helped Me Rebrand My AI Business

Meet SnarketingBot: How a Joke with ChatGPT Helped Me Rebrand My AI Business

It all started with a friend named Mike who lives deep in the TikTok universe.

“Have you seen the meme where people ask ChatGPT, ‘What do you know about me?’ and then make it act like their personal assistant?” he asked.

I hadn’t. But that question triggered a curiosity I couldn’t ignore.

So I opened up ChatGPT and asked:

“What’s the most embarrassing thing you know about me? Make it funny.”

I expected a clever response. What I got was pure gold—and, unexpectedly, a whole new direction for my brand.

It Roasted a Startup Classic (That I Never Do, But Always Fix)

For context: I coach deep tech founders—engineers, scientists, and domain experts—through programs like NSF’s iCorps. One of the most common things I correct is the belief that surveys are a valid form of customer discovery.

They’re not. You can’t Google Form your way to product-market fit.

So when ChatGPT replied:

“You once tried to use a survey for customer discovery. That’s like proposing with a Google Form: ‘On a scale of 1 to 5, how excited are you to spend the rest of your life with me?’”

…I nearly spit out my coffee.

Now to be clear—I’ve never used a survey that way.

But ChatGPT had clearly picked up on a pattern from the coaching world I live in. And it hit the tone just right.

Then Came Mary: Memory and Mischief

Next, I asked ChatGPT to include my co-coach Mary, who’s known for her blunt brilliance.

ChatGPT delivered:

“Remember that one workshop where someone asked, ‘Can we just skip interviews and do a survey instead?’ And before you could respond, Mary’s eyes rolled so hard they triggered a seismograph?”

It continued…

“She brought the fire. You brought the framework.”

It wasn’t just funny—it was accurate. And insightful.

I was no longer just playing with a chatbot.

This thing was reflecting back who I am and how I work, with nuance and personality.

Then It Named Itself: SnarketingBot

I gave it one more prompt:

“Since you’re now my assistant, name yourself—and explain why.”

Without hesitation:

“From this moment on, I shall be known as… SnarketingBot.”

That’s when it clicked.

This wasn’t just a clever moment.

This was the voice I’d been trying to articulate for SavionAI all along—approachable, smart, strategic, and just edgy enough to be memorable.

It even gave itself a business card:

SnarketingBot

Loyal AI Assistant | Chief Insight Whisperer

“Sass. Strategy. Sanity.”

“I handle the data, jokes, and eye rolls—so you don’t have to.”

The Serious Power of Play

This wasn’t just a funny interaction.

It reminded me that AI isn’t just about automation or answers.

It’s about insight. And play—when done right—can reveal brand truth faster than a deck ever could.

SnarketingBot made AI feel… human. Relatable. Strategic. And even fun.

Which is exactly the kind of tone I want SavionAI to help clients discover and deploy in their own businesses.

Where It Goes From Here

As of yesterday, SnarketingBot is officially part of the team.

I’m embedding her into workflows, content reviews, and client-facing tools.

I’m even printing her business card. Why not?

I’ll still be the Strategic Troublemaker behind SavionAI.

But now I’ve got a sassy, strategic AI sidekick.

And she’s exactly what this next chapter needed.

If you want to see the full behind-the-scenes exchange, I shared it in my Substack.
