Meet the Summer 2025 Startups

This summer, we're embarking on an exciting new phase of transformation as we welcome our latest cohort to the AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP Accelerator. These remarkable startups have been meticulously chosen for their ability to revolutionize how we age, bringing forward innovations such as AI-powered care coordination platforms, intelligent brain health monitoring through eye-tracking technology, social prescription networks that reduce medical dependency, and personalized nutrition solutions that adapt to individual health needs.

Each participant has completed an extensive selection process to ensure they deliver innovative, human-centered solutions that address critical challenges throughout the aging journey. Over the next eight weeks, they'll engage in an intensive, collaborative program designed to accelerate expansion, refine go-to-market strategies, and optimize product-market alignment.

From evidence-based development methodologies to practical expertise on engaging older adults and their families, these startups will access the essential tools required to amplify their influence. Our commitment is to empower them to create meaningful change and redefine what's achievable in the future of healthy aging.

Introducing our Summer 2025 Cohort:

1. BetterBrain empowers people to take control of their brain health by combining advanced biomarker testing, AI-powered tools, and expert coaching to help people reduce their risk of dementia and optimize cognitive function.

2. BetterYou is a healthy habits companion that helps people find more time in the day for their health.

3. CareCo is a copilot for care coordination.

4. Counterforce Health is an AI powered platform that helps individuals and small medical clinics fight health insurance claim denials through automated appeal letter generation, step-by-step guidance, and AI powered voice agents. The company addresses a critical market need, as over 50 million insurance claims are denied annually but less than 1% are appealed, leading to medical debt and care delays for patients while costing small clinics over $19 billion per year in administrative burden.

5. EatLove is the leading AI-powered platform that delivers personalized, clinically-proven nutrition solutions using its proprietary Nutrition Intelligence® technology that adapts to each user, accessible via self-service and clinician-directed pathways. The platform connects hyper-personalized meal recommendations, smart restaurant choices, and national network of food suppliers to help people achieve better health outcomes while enabling health and wellness organizations to deliver more effective nutrition care.

6. Empallo is making concierge-level cardiac care affordable and accessible.

7. GoGoGrandparent is a service that helps older adults live independently by coordinating rides, groceries, prescription deliveries, and more—all by phone. They make everyday tasks easier and safer without the need for a smartphone or app.

8. Guava Health helps people take control of their health by bringing together all their health information into one place. With real-time access to over 60,000 integrations to health facilities and top medical and fitness devices, as well as real-world data tracking and providing intelligent health insights, Guava is the most holistic, comprehensive personal health tool available.

9. JubileeTV turns your parent’s trusted television into a shared screen that brings you closer, even when life pulls you in every direction. From your phone, you can drop in to say “I’m here”, turn on their favorite show, send a loving reminder, or even see their screen to help tech issues—without adding confusion or taking away their independence.

10. Retain Health is a digital health startup leveraging AI-powered text messaging to help those at risk for Alzheimer's build brain-healthy habits, including better nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management, before symptoms appear. Its clinically validated RetainYourBrain™ platform, supported by an NIH-funded study, empowers users to proactively manage their cognitive health.

ViewMind is a leading MedTech company specializing in neuroscience, and pioneer in the development of technology that is able to assess brain health, by activating functions of the brain with visual exercises. The eye-movement responses to those exercises are interpreted with proprietary algorithms (ocular phenotyping). ViewMind revolutionizes brain health monitoring with its proprietary technology, using non-invasive eye-tracking to capture critical data.
