AI infra’s two-speed race
AI infrastructure is being built at breakneck speed, and the strategies are diverging. At the hyperscale end, Meta just signed a reported $10 billion deal with Google Cloud to secure the compute power for its 1.3 million GPU ambitions. At the other end of the stack, Crusoe is buying Atero to squeeze more efficiency out of GPUs and expand into the Middle East — proof that innovation in optimization is just as vital as scaling capacity.
