In our demo, the administration team immediately uses JIRA Service Management to check room availability via a Confluence page. With a few clicks, they update the ticket and trigger automated tasks:

  • Room Availability Check: The team quickly navigates to the Confluence space that lists all campus venues. Real-time updates show which spaces are free, allowing them to decide on a quick alternative.
  • Task Automation: Once the alternative venue is selected, multiple follow-up tasks are auto-generated. For instance, the building security is notified to unlock the space, and the AV team is alerted to set up the necessary equipment.
