Muon Space Secures NRO Contract Extension and Accelerated 2025 Missions
Muon Space is continuing to scale its production with plans to launch five Halo™ satellites in 2025. Following the successful March 2025 FireSat protoflight, we've completed spacecraft commissioning and are advancing rapidly on multiple fronts. See below for updates on our next two launches.
Muon Space has been awarded a Stage II contract modification by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) under its Strategic Commercial Enhancements framework. This modification will support end-to-end demonstration of our advanced EO/IR capabilities and continued testing by the NRO, strengthening Muon’s position in the national security space sector.
Launching Soon on SpaceX T14: We’ve successfully integrated our fourth satellite for a Customer Halo Mission at Vandenberg Space Force Base with Exolaunch and SpaceX, featuring two payload capabilities with infrared and GNSS-reflectometry instruments.
SNC Vindlér Block 2 Milestone: Our first Vindlér Block 2 satellite has completed assembly and entered comprehensive environmental testing, while the second and third units advance through manufacturing. This constellation will deliver groundbreaking RF signal collection and analytics capabilities.
