My Journey to Resolute Education

It's funny how life sometimes takes you in the most unexpected directions. My career, for example, didn't start in a place that might scream "future designer" - it began on a factory floor, soldering circuits and assembling pepper gas alarms. At the time I never could have predicted how those early days would shape my determination and future, but it set the stage for a journey that led me to where I am today: a passionate graphic designer with a love for both design and illustration.

After my time in the factory, my career path took me into marketing and eventually freelancing. It was during this phase that I first crossed paths with Resolute Education. At the time, I was working on a variety of projects, from designing book layouts to creating mascots for schoolbooks. When I started collaborating with the team at Resolute, something clicked.

At the end of my freelance contract with Resolute, I received a call that changed everything: an offer to join the team full-time as a Graphic Designer. It was “the perfect fit” and I didn’t hesitate for a second. Suddenly, I’m part of an incredible design team that is passionate and possesses so much insight that I can learn from, and to be part of a group that is as resolute as they come.

From taking ideas and turning them into tangible designs to collaborating on creative solutions such as the gamified Novice platform, every day presents new challenges that push my skills further. But what excites me the most are the projects that allow me to bring my love of illustration to life, like styling our products, designing playful characters for the schoolbooks - Novi and friends - that both teachers & kids can connect with and learn from. 

The Novi mascot is based on the visual appeal of one of our main products, the Novice bot, & plays a crucial role in shaping the design principles that have been implemented in the illustration style used to develop more graphic content.

I’m proud of the work we do at Resolute Education, and I’m excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for the future of coding and robotics. It's exciting to be part of the evolving world of education, helping to shape future mindsets and make a positive impact along the way.
