🎤 Don’t Miss TheNTWK Talks with Reshuffle author, Sangeet Paul Choudary

📘 Here’s what you can expect:

"Your skills are essential, but they gain contextual value only when they resolve a constraint in the system.”

Most books on AI are about the technology and the tasks it replaces. Reshuffle is, instead, a book about systems and how they evolve when a new technology is introduced. The real impact of AI comes not from how it performs a task, but from how it restructures the entire system around that task. That’s the untold story that isn’t understood enough.

Reshuffle provides a comprehensive framework to explain:

  • (1) How technology changes the rules of competition

  • (2) How organizations transform in response to (1)

  • (3) How jobs transform in response to (2)

Conversely, it also explains:

  • (1) How individuals and teams leverage new tech to innovate

  • (2) How workflows and organizations change as a result

  • (3) How some firms accordingly rewrite the rules of competition in their favor.

A combination of these inside-out and outside-in shifts transform the overall system.

This session will explore how AI is reshaping work, value, and capability — and what that means for all of us navigating the knowledge economy.

🎯 3 Tips of the Week

🔁 Operationalize Circularity Through Ecosystem Incentives

Summit Insight: Circularity innovators emphasized that circularity isn’t just a supply chain issue—it’s a platform design challenge. To drive real change, platforms must build economic incentives for reuse, repair, and take-back into their ecosystems.

💡 Tip: Design for value loops, not linear lifecycles. Embed features like return credits, second-life marketplaces, or trackable ownership into your ecosystem.

Apply it: Collaborate with ecosystem partners to co-create pilot programs—like digital product passports or takeback schemes—and test how incentives drive circular behavior.

🔐 Build Trust Infrastructure from the Ground Up

Summit Insight: Speakers from Siemens pointed out that Europe’s edge in digital ecosystems may lie in its ability to embed trust by design. Verifiable credentials, identity standards, and consent-driven data sharing will be core enablers of future growth.

💡 Tip: Don’t treat trust as an afterthought. Make digital integrity a built-in feature, just like scalability or UX.

Apply it: Start mapping where your platform relies on identity, credentials, or governance. Pilot tools like self-sovereign identity (SSI) or decentralized identifiers (DIDs) in one high-value user flow.

📊 Redefine Growth for Ecosystem Resilience

Summit Insight: Speakers and Summit attendees are challenging the traditional “scale at all costs” mindset. Growth in ecosystem business models is shifting from transactional volume to co-creation, activation, and long-term resilience.

💡 Tip: Track ecosystem health, not just business performance. Activation, contribution, and mutual value creation are the new KPIs.

Apply it: Introduce metrics like satisfaction scores, contribution rate, or ecosystem revenue share. Shift internal dashboards to reflect relational, not just financial, success.
