New dates soon to be released for Intelligence Analysis, Researcher and Excel courses !

SAB GIAC Ltd will be providing for the following courses from July onwards, these courses are CPD Standards accredited and IALEIA accredited (IAT) and can be delivered onsite at your organisation (minimum numbers required), at our Manchester based training centre (minimum numbers required) and online:

Intelligence Analytical Techniques I.A.T (10 days) - This course is currently scheduled to run from the 28th July to 08th August 2025, there are a few places remaining for this course.

The IAT training provides the learner with the necessary methodologies and techniques relating to  intelligence and analysis tradecraft to enable efficient and effective production of assessment that informs decision making. The course provides the learner with the skills and learning to undertake analysis and assessment of the differing forms of data, information and intelligence. Providing instruction and application of Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Structured Analytical Techniques within their role and responsibilities to enhance their capabilities of analysis.

Intelligence Research (5 days) - The training course provides the learner with the necessary skills, methodology and tradecraft to undertake effective research in support of the production of intelligence products. Be able to undertake quantitative and qualitative research in support of the strategic, tactical and operational environments. Undertake and complete research summaries and provide clear and concise findings. Capable of structuring the data, information and intelligence in a usable format. Develop the skills and knowledge to effectively apply organisational standards of intelligence management to ensure that the collected information and data is assessed into actionable intelligence against identified priorities and intelligence requirements.

Excel (2 days) - To provide learners the methodology and application of Excel within the many different environments that support an analytical environment. To explain and show learners inbuilt functionality of Excel including :- Autofill, Custom Lists, Cell Addressing, Percentages, Named Ranges, Auto-filters, Conditional Formatting and Format Painter. Practical application of creating and applying formulas against set scenarios, how to apply formula to data sets such as communications data, financial data. How to exploit the data through research methodologies. Creating concise reports adding clarity to the data that informs decision making.
