📅 What's been happening on the programme?

To all the founders who are about to start the adventure or have recently completed Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme, congratulations and best of luck!

Eight Innovative Startups Graduate From New Frontiers In Waterford | At the end of June, eight startups celebrated their graduation at an event that also recognised the stand-out participants from the programme: Tom Weldon of Lagertha, Brian Cusack of Supp Genie AI, and Clare Mansfield of Flowering Fertility Support. At New Frontiers in Kerry, the Phase 1 programme closed with participants getting the chance to pitch their business ideas.

Fifteen Founders Graduate From New Frontiers In Grangegorman | In July, fifteen founders were awarded their certificates of completion and invited to pitch to an expert panel for the chance to win one of three prizes. The awardees were Daragh Jordan of Magnate, Xiao Zhang of Alto Health, and Ruairí McLoughlin of Anaula. Read more about the event and the graduates in our blog.

• (Dundalk Democrat) New Frontiers Programme at Dundalk IT | A look at the founders currently completing Phase 2 of New Frontiers at the Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) Regional Development Centre (RDC) and DCU Innovate Hub.
• (The Journal) 'I’ve learnt to listen to the material' | An interview with alumnus Paul Murphy, aka the Mindful Maker, who makes items such as tables, candleholders, and chopping boards from Irish elm, sycamore, and beech at his workshop in Cork.
• (Irish Independent) Sports Impact Technologies Secures €650k | Founded by Eóin Tuohy, the startup has secured €650,000 in pre-seed funding to roll-out its beta product in a round led by private investors with the support of Enterprise Ireland High-Potential Start-Up (HPSU) funding.
• (Business Post) Westport startup TruckScience scales globally | Co-founded by New Frontiers alumna Sorcha O’Grady, the compliance software business TruckScience is targeting revenue of €2 million this year.
• (Diversity in Tech Awards) Therapix finalist in the Diversity in Tech Awards | Congratulations to Banu Balaji and the Therapix team on being named Social Impact finalists in the Diversity in Tech Awards 2025. Therapix helps parents, teachers, and therapists to use therapy skills with children who have additional needs.
• (Think Business) My Business Life: Lee Bristow | A recent alumnus of the New Frontiers programme, Lee Bristow is a cybersecurity and AI governance expert with a decade of experience in third-party risk management, compliance, and information security. He shares his journey and insights with thinkbusiness.ie.
• (Attracta Beauty Awards) Soak in Wellness wins at the Attracta Beauty Awards | Congratulations to Karen Kearney and the Soak in Wellness team on their wins at the Attracta Beauty Awards in the UK. The company won two awards in the Hands & Body category and was highly commended in the Skincare category.
• (Creative Business Cup) Starilum wins Creative Business Cup Ireland | Congratulations to alumna Dora Jean Gillespie and the Starilum team who won the national competition of the global Creative Business Cup, an 80-country competition for creative and innovative startups.
