New York City Health Innovation Week 2025: Leading the Transformation of Healthcare

New York City Health Innovation Week 2025 (NYCHIW), presented by HITLAB and the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, will bring together healthcare leaders from May 5–10, 2025. This landmark happening aims to address critical healthcare issues by connecting senior executives, providers, policymakers, technology innovators, investors, and academics. By encouraging meaningful collaboration, NYCHIW seeks practical solutions to accelerate improvements in healthcare delivery and patient care.

Leaders Shaping the Future of Health

NYCHIW features prominent experts who are actively shaping healthcare. At the center of NYCHIW is the Digital Health Innovator’s Summit, taking place May 6–8 at the Microsoft Tech Center. Each day addresses key areas impacting healthcare today:

Day 1: Building the Foundations of Innovation

The first day will focus on fundamental topics such as artificial intelligence in healthcare, advancements in drug discovery, healthcare investment strategies, modernizing operations, and navigating regulatory environments. Speakers include Mark Michelet of Microsoft, Bill Taranto of the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Laurent van Lerberghe of KELES, and James Fischer of DLA Piper.

Day 2: Personalizing Healthcare for All

Day two will highlight patient-centered innovations, including digital accessibility, personalized medicine, effective health communication strategies, and targeted innovations in women's and children's health.
